We are responsible for identifying opportunities, optimizing processes, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure Extend's operational excellence and competitive advantage. The Opportunity:Extend is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Sr. Business Strategy and Operations Manager to lead strategic initiatives for our core warranty verticals. This is a critical individual contributor role responsible for optimizing our go-to-market approach, driving growth, and ensuring operational excellence within these key segments. You will be instrumental in shaping our long-term strategy, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring seamless execution across the business.
What You’ll Do- Strategic Leadership: Own and drive long-term strategic planning initiatives for warranty verticals, identifying market opportunities and competitive advantages.
- Program & Pricing Optimization: Lead efforts to optimize warranty programs, including consumer pricing, premium structures, and revenue share models. Explore and implement new coverage options to enhance program attractiveness and profitability.
- Go-to-Market Enablement: Act as a central point for cross-functional collaboration, working closely with Sales, Merchant Success, Pricing, Programs, Customer Service, and Marketing teams to ensure a unified and effective go-to-market motion. Contribute to product marketing efforts for your verticals.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee the weekly strategy meetings, focusing on pipeline management, expansion strategies, economic reviews, and identifying areas for program and pricing improvements.
- Special Projects: Spearhead strategic projects designed to improve vertical performance, drive innovation, and maintain Extend's competitive edge in the market.
- 6+ years of experience in a strategy, operations, or related analytical role within a fast-paced tech company.
- Proven ability to lead strategic initiatives and drive tangible business outcomes.
- Strong understanding of GTM motions and sales cycles.
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (data modeling, financial analysis, forecasting).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to diverse audiences.
- Comfortable speaking to product management teams and translating business needs into technical requirements.
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.
- (Preferred) Experience with SQL and/or Python for data analysis.
- Experience in the warranty, insurance, or FinTech industries.
Expected Pay Range: $160,000 - $180,000 per year salaried*
