BitPay is looking for a high-performing Senior Business Development Representative to drive growth and support strategic initiatives in the rapidly evolving crypto space. Based in the U.S., this remote role requires candidates to reside in the Pacific Time (PST) zone and is ideal for someone with a proven ability to source, qualify, and close targeted high-value opportunities and/or partnerships.

As part of our revenue-facing team, you’ll play a key role in expanding BitPay’s reach working cross-functionally with stakeholders to identify and close new opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage new enterprise clients and partners through proactive outreach and networking.
  • Work with the sales team to structure strategic deals and ensure smooth transitions during hand-offs.
  • Collaborate with marketing to execute targeted outbound campaigns.
  • Take part in onboarding and sales training for new customers. 
  • Lead sales meetings representing BitPay, driving pipeline growth and achieving key sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, forecasts, and communication in the CRM system.
  • Gather market insights and customer feedback to inform our go-to-market and product strategies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise business development, ideally selling payment services (Card, Alternative Payments such as BNPL or Instant Payments).  Experience in the crypto space is a plus!
  • Excellent communicator, comfortable engaging with both technical and business stakeholders. 
  • Strong prospecting, influencing, and negotiation skills with a strategic approach to selling and closing deals.
  • Adaptable and confident working in a fast-paced, regulated, and constantly evolving industry.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven and passionate about innovation and delivering results. 
  • Team-oriented with a focus on collective success.
  • Willingness to occasionally travel for conferences or meetings.
  • Must reside in the Pacific Time (PST) zone, the position is fully remote.
