Job Responsibilities :

The Senior Business Development Manager works closely with the global business development team of Razer Gold to drive content acquisition and partnership opportunities globally. The Senior Business Development Manager has the responsibility of growing the content pipeline, partnerships, and planning growth strategy opportunities.
This position requires an individual who is self-directed and adaptable with very strong effective communication skills, able to work under pressure, along with proven experience working on complex, regional, time-critical projects. It is also important to have a strong network of contacts in the games and entertainment industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Acquire digital content (games and entertainment) for Razer Gold.

  • Negotiate agreements with partners and manage, review, and renew such agreements as required to maximize business interests for Razer Gold.

  • Work with the global business development team to develop a growth strategy, business partnerships pipeline, and acquire digital content that drives revenue for Razer Gold.

  • Identify business opportunities and work with the global business development team to develop product requirement specifications to capture the business opportunities.

  • Develop long-term partnerships within the games and entertainment industry to drive business opportunities.

Pre-Requisites :

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Qualifying degree with more than 8 years of experience in the online gaming/digital content or payment service industry.

  • Demonstrate experience with a successful track record in content acquisition and building relationships.

  • Has a strong network of contacts in the games and entertainment industry.

  • Has good knowledge of the online gaming content/industry and its competitive background.

  • Has an understanding of PC and mobile game content development processes, pipelines, workflows, and tools.

  • Good analytical skills, capable of doing in-depth analysis, to provide business insights and develop strategies to counter challenges and grow new businesses.

  • Own and maintain an extensive partnership network in the gaming and entertainment content industry. Experience in working with international partners and global/regional partnerships.

  • Excellent team player.

  • Keen sense and interest in latest technology developments, market trends, near future trends, and web technologies.

  • Good communicator.

  • Highly organized, deadline-oriented, and self-motivated. Ability to think outside of the box.

  • Highly adaptable to changing environment and business landscape.

  • Fast learner, self-motivated, and a self-starter who can act on their initiative.

  • Ability to work well in a complex matrixed environment.

  • Knowledge of the payment industry for games and entertainment is an advantage.

Salary Ranges (per annum):

$95,424.00 - $212,372.00
