Energy Recovery, Inc. is seeking a qualified candidate for an immediate full-time job opening for the position of Senior Corporate Development Manager, reporting to the CFO in the San Leandro, CA facility. This position is responsible for leading strategic initiatives, new market evaluations, and strategic partnerships and other transactions. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for identifying conducting market analysis and supporting corporate strategy development. A suitable candidate will have prior experience in corporate development, investment banking, or management consulting.

What Will You Do?

  • Lead the evaluation of strategic business opportunities, including evaluating new market entry points and potential strategic partnerships or acquisition targets
  • Develop and present business cases, including financial modeling and qualitative analysis, to senior leadership
  • Manage relationships with potential partners and other industry stakeholders
  • Lead any potential transactions resulting from the strategy work
  • Manage market intelligence analysis and reporting
  • All other projects and duties as assigned

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, or management consulting
  • Strong knowledge of financial modeling, valuation techniques, and market analysis
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to work in a flat, collaborative environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel as needed

The salary range for this role is $161,000 to $190,000/year with bonus opportunity, equity grant, and other perks. The stated range is the range that we reasonably believe to be the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California. This range may be modified in the future.
