Our firm has an opening for a Senior Business Development Manager, who will be part of the global marketing and business development team supporting the Litigation practice. This position can be based in our Washington DC office.
Primary Responsibilities:

Working with lawyers in assigned practices, individually and as groups, to develop, implement and execute business development plans, initiatives and activities.

Creating, customizing and updating pitch materials, directory submissions and other marketing content to ensure they are well-written and positioned appropriately towards target audiences.

Monitoring business, legal and geopolitical news to identify strategic opportunities for individual partners and practice groups.

Planning, executing and conducting follow up as appropriate from client events and webinars, as well as other thought leadership campaigns.

Serving as the business development lead for onboarding and integration of assigned lateral partners.

Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field, with a minimum of eight years of relevant experience in professional services or law firm business development.

Exceptional interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills are critical to success as are collegial, collaborative and team player attributes.

Candidate must be a self-starter who thrives on juggling numerous high visibility projects on fast timetables and can handle high-pressure environments. Candidate should have strong to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and some knowledge of applications specific to the legal field.
Qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records will be considered for the position in accordance with the California Fair Chance Act.
California, New York and Washington DC Pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on skillset and experience, is $180k - $200k.
