We are seeking a full-time Senior Business Analyst to be part of our Implementation team. As the Senior Business Analyst, you will help our enterprise customers implement OneVest products and services. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand customer’s business objectives, gather requirements, conduct analysis, and define, develop, and deliver optimum solutions. What you’ll be doing:

  • Engage in project mobilization: Participate in internal hand-off sessions with Presales and Solutions Architects as well as procure customer environments. 
  • Participate in Discovery sessions: Capture and validate standard and non-standard client implementation requirements pertaining to configurations for workflows, user views, role permissions, administration settings, and data integration requirements for customer use cases. 
  • Solution Analysis: Collaborate with Solutions Architects, Implementation Managers, Solution Engineers, and Product Managers to analyze requirements and develop solutions to implement them.
  • Process Engineering: Create a process engineering plan in collaboration with customer resources to align customer processes to OV products.
  • Data Analysis and Mapping: Analyze customer data by manipulating CSV, JSON, and/or spreadsheets mapping it to existing data elements in the OneVest data dictionary and in collaboration with Solution Engineers and Product Managers add new entries to the data dictionary/database as appropriate.
  • Create Customer Organization structures: Discover and set up organization structures, user roles, permissions, page configurations, and collaborate with Solutions Engineers to build workflows.
  • Drive high quality customer outcomes: Perform functional testing, validation of configurations, and provide support for internal quality assurance, as well as customer’s user acceptance testing.
  • Provide customer demos: Demo configurations and integrations to customers eliciting feedback to improve the end-user experience prior to hand-off to customers for user acceptance testing.
  • Support project management: Collaborate with the Implementation Manager in ongoing planning, risk mitigation, issue resolution, escalations, and delivering simultaneously for multiple customer projects.
  • Provide subject matter expertise: Act as an SME for customers to assist in navigating their implementation from project kick-off through to launch.
  • Participate in change management: Identify and document change requests as part of the change management process
  • Participate in training: Lead end-user training and train the trainer sessions.
  • Transition Live Customers: Collaborate with internal teams (Product & Technology, Implementation, Revenue) to improve the seamless transition of the customer from implementation to business as usual
  • Deliver customer documentation: Working with internal teams (Product and Implementation), contribute to development of customer-facing content; training documentation, knowledge base, and FAQs.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement of internal processes, procedures, and templates to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Personal time management: Manage & prioritize multiple fast-paced projects at any given time.
  • Mentorship: Mentor Business Analysts to help them learn the Wealth Management industry and grow their analytical skills.

Must Haves:

  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Operations, Engineering, Computer Science, or similar.
  • 7+ years experience as a Business Analyst in Fintech, Consulting in Financial Services, or Wealth Management, or similar.
  • Knowledge of how a Wealth Management firm operates from the front to back office.
  • Experience in technical scope documentation and solution configuration for B2B customers with track record of scope and change control.
  • Proficiency in metadata and data dictionary management with CSV, JSON and spreadsheets using Excel/Google Sheets and/or similar data treatment tools.
  • Ability to manage large datasets, spreadsheets and understand querying this data.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to negotiate scope/out of scope features with customers.

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience as a Business Analyst specifically at other wealth technology companies.
  • Understanding of Project Management
principles and SaaS delivery.
  • Experience participating in Agile deliveries and utilizing tooling such as Asana, Jira, or SalesForce.
  • Implementations of financial technology products that are configurable to customer’s requirements.
  • Fluent in French.
