Partnering with stakeholders in the Technical Services (post-sales support) team, Analytics team, and other teams around the business, this role will surface key insights to drive business decision making. This role requires someone with strong analytical and technical skills, operational experience driving efficiencies, ability to apply a data-first mindset to strategic initiatives, and who is comfortable working across multiple functional areas in a fast-paced, challenging environment.

Responsibilities- Lead in-depth analyses of Technical Services’ business processes, pricing models, and deal structures, including the mechanics of complex transactions; develop strategic insights and solutions that support business scaling and profitability goals
- Collaborate closely with FP&A to integrate financial and budget considerations into headcount planning and resource allocation for Technical Services, aligning operational initiatives with broader fiscal objectives
- Facilitate and drive strategic alignment with executive stakeholders, incorporating FP&A insights and objectives
- Partner with cross-functional leadership to assess and influence corporate initiatives' impact on Technical Services; develop readiness plans and restructuring proposals to support sustainable business growth
- Architect robust data pipelines in collaboration with Data Analysis, Engineering, and Architecture teams, ensuring the standardization, quality, and precision of data needed for sophisticated business analytics
- Consult with stakeholders to define strategic data and reporting needs; design advanced dashboards that enable stakeholders to self-serve critical insights for planning performance evaluations and initiative assessments
- Strengthening team capabilities in FP&A analysis, deal mechanics evaluation, and cross-functional collaboration
- 10+ years of hands-on analytics and business reporting experience (or 5+ years of experience with MBA or equivalent degree), ideally within or partnering with customer-facing organizations
- Skilled in cleaning, transforming, and integrating data through programmatic methods like Python and SQL, with a demonstrated ability to support advanced FP&A models and planning tools
- Extensive understanding of complex sales processes, SaaS subscriptions, and deal mechanics with proven skills in employing data analysis techniques to inform high-level executive decisions
- Proven experience working with senior management and effectively presenting to executive leadership, particularly concerning FP&A strategies, headcount forecasting, and strategic deal structuring
- Ability to extract and communicate actionable insights from diverse data sets, driving recommendations and strategic planning discussions
- Demonstrated interest and experience in scoping and building data sets and data products leveraging artificial intelligence technologies / models"
- Expert in creating dynamic, user-centric dashboards and analytical tools in Tableau that facilitate strategic decision-making and resource planning
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of translating intricate technical concepts into clear, actionable strategies for varied business audiences
- Advanced ability to prioritize strategic initiatives, manage conflicting demands in high-stakes environments, and meet critical deadlines
- Committed to fostering collaborative, innovative, and inclusive environments, actively driving professional growth and acumen within the team
- Extensive experience with Technical Support businesses/products and familiarity with product management processes is a major advantage

Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package.
