JOB DESCRIPTION

FOX Corporation’s Broadcast Partnerships team seeks a Senior Business Analyst to support the team’s analysis and renewal initiatives. The Broadcast Partnerships team is responsible for the distribution of Sports, Entertainment, and News content across our nationwide network of FOX affiliates.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Track and summarize internal contractual commitments, including subscriber and financial obligations

  • Maintain internal resources to track key activities of key partners, including the tracking of national and local sports rights, industry M&A, financial performance, etc.

  • Assist in monitoring Broadcast Media and Pay TV industry trends to assess competitive marketplace news and announcements

  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning

  • Analyze industry reports to assess the financial performance of key partners and industry participants

  • Contribute to regular reporting of financial and operating insights to inform key takeaways for renewal negotiations and strategy

  • Support the deal team, including the valuation of economic components of proposals

  • Create Excel summaries and PowerPoint presentations to communicate to the broadcast partnerships team and senior management for strategic and tactical decision-making

 

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field

  • 4+ years of experience as a business analyst in the media & entertainment industry or related role

  • Experience in presenting financial models and budget scenarios to senior management

  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with an ability to prioritize deliverables while understanding the big picture and business as a whole

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment during deal renewal season

  • Able to juggle numerous deals and deliver accurate data

  • Ability to work with large amounts of data to analyze and distill into actionable and understandable viewpoints

  • Ability to maintain confidential information

  • Team player and self-starter with a positive attitude and a desire to learn

  • Understanding of the Pay TV industry, including the Broadcast, MVPD, and DTC distribution models

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel & PowerPoint

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $92,000.00-110,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
