Position Summary

As a Senior Brand Marketing Specialist, you will develop marketing projects/programs and consumer engagement strategies in support of the ARCO direct dealer business and ARCO Mexico. The position is ideal for a highly motivated individual who is adept at identifying trends and can develop and implement comprehensive strategies that are aligned with broader brand objectives.

The position requires innovation, critical thinking, analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives. The role also requires attention to detail as well as strong communication and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement consumer marketing projects and programs (retail, on-site signage, schematics, work plans, social media moderation, etc.) in support of the ARCO direct dealer business. Conducts on-going analysis of new promotional opportunities and coordinates test programs.
  • Investigate and studies advertising, sales promotion, and merchandising programs and trends of competitive companies and appraises results
  • Develop, manage and adhere to ARCO brand standards and ensure documents and apps are continually updated
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders in executing comprehensive marketing campaigns including ad agencies, field sales teams, Law, Purchasing and Commercial, Corporate Communications, and outside vendors  
  • Develop, maintain and present ARCO Workplan documents to be used for brand meetings, internal/external business partners, etc.
  • Prepare and communicate appropriate site image monthly reports for our licensed brands (Shell and XOM)
  • Manages day-to-day relationship with the ARCO Mexico marketing team in brand management and marketing programs. Includes the management of the site inspection program, sponsorship support, social media moderation, marketing requests, leading bi-weekly meetings, senior leadership reports, etc.
  • Adhere to budget parameters, monitors expenses and prepares reports.
Experience

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Marketing, communication, or other business-related degree preferred.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in marketing, advertising, and/or brand management.
  • Prior experience with public speaking, Salesforce Skills, and proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluency in Spanish language skills a plus
