About the role:

Sr. Brand Manager will support the Brand Director in strategy-setting complex projects cross-functionally with calculated impact to the business. As a thought leader in the organization, this role is considered a top performing subject matter expert. With experience in commercial & campaign leadership, business reporting, and brand strategy development, the Sr. Brand Manager oversees key product platform(s) in the portfolio that will help enable Liquid I.V. to continue to hold its position as a market maker and leader of the functional hydration category

Functions and duties of this role include, but not limited to:

  • Initiate new learning opportunities in partnership with CMI, translate into recommendations for communication strategy, product claims, new product opportunities, marketing campaigns 
  • Operate as the voice of the consumer, be in touch with trends across marketing channels, the category, culture etc. 
  • Participates in customer business planning process and collaborates with Sales team to ensure delivery of net sales and market share objectives 
  • Responsible for tracking and updating budget within approved allocation 
  • Responsible for coaching and mentorship of more junior members of the brand team 
  • Exhibits expertise in cross-functional and departmental team management, proficiency in managing highly complex projects, paired with ability to influence higher-level leadership and strategic direction. 
  • Initiate, lead, manage & execute disruptive brand campaigns and product launches focused on increasing brand awareness and household penetration 
  • Collaborate with in-house creative team or external agency partners to develop creative toolkit for campaigns, lead strategy to direct 360 channel leads on campaign extensions. 
  • Responsible for project management to enable top-line sufficiency, reporting and management of commercial business performance for specific channels or product platforms, and development of accurate POS-informed inputs for the demand plan. 
  • Responsible for development of winning product claims and selling story for multiple product platforms. 

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:  

Minimum of 5+ years of experience in brand management, brand marketing in CPG managing complex large-scale business, product, or marketing projects. 

  • 4+ years of experience in retail data analytics, consumer insights, or marketing, a plus
  • 2+ years of experience managing and developing a team at various levels
  • Bachelors in related field, MBA preferred
  • Strong time & project management skills, ability to navigate complexity
  • Strong understanding of the marketing landscape and development of 360 full funnel marketing campaigns
  • Interest in disruptive marketing and appetite to push boundaries
  • Ability to partner cross-functionally and collaborate with creative teams or external innovation partners
  • Strong communication skills
  • Competency with data analytics
  • Ability to assess business performance, story-tell, build recommendations for growth, and influence decision-makers
  • Strong ability in presentation development and storytelling in PPT
  • Ability to manage and coach a team to successful results
  • Experience deconstructing business performance leveraging data analysis (Nielsen, IRI, SPINS, etc.) 
  • Strong knowledge of contemporary media (social, content marketing, video)
  • Experience in health & wellness space a plus
  • Forecasting experience a plus

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

The compensation band for this position is $126,000 - $184,000 annually. The exact salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, internal company equity, and budget. The listed range is applicable only to the annual base salary and does not include additional perks, benefits, or applicable bonus eligibility comprising the total compensation package.
