Role Summary

The Senior Brand Designer at Renew Home will be an exceptional creative leader focused on translating complex narratives into elegant, impactful visual storytelling across all branded experiences. This is a senior individual contributor role requiring deep expertise in brand systems, art direction, motion design, data visualization, and product sensibilities. The primary focus will be on crafting sophisticated and cohesive experiences that elevate Renew Home’s core brand and co-branded presence across digital, product, and business development channels, while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams.

What You Will Do

Brand systems & visual storytelling

  • Leverage and elevate Renew Home’s brand system, ensuring consistency and innovation across digital, product, and go to market experiences.
  • Create high-impact visual expressions that simplify complex topics, including energy industry concepts, data insights, and product value propositions.
  • Develop complex yet elegant data visualizations, illustrations, iconography, and other visual assets that bring Renew Home’s story to life.

Cross-functional collaboration and product engagement

  • Partner closely with product designers to ensure cohesive brand expression across multi-themed experiences, contributing assets and design guidance for UI components and design systems.
  • Work cross-functionally with product marketing, business development, design leadership, and other stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into compelling visual solutions.

Large-scale initiative execution

  • Lead the visual development and execution of major brand initiatives such as website experiences, sales enablement asset libraries, product go-to-market campaigns, and event activations.
  • Collaborate with external creative agencies, providing art direction and feedback to maintain brand integrity and creative excellence.

Creative leadership & mentorship

  • Mentor and inspire other members of the team, elevating the overall quality of design work and fostering a culture of creative excellence.
  • Contribute to design critiques and provide constructive feedback to strengthen team output.

Tools & innovation

  • Work fluently in Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, Notion, and Google Suite to develop and share design solutions.
  • Integrate AI tools into your workflow to enhance creativity, efficiency, and innovation in design processes.

Communication & presentation

  • Confidently articulate design decisions and present creative work to diverse audiences, including large groups and executive stakeholders.
  • Contribute to Renew Home’s broader creative vision by sharing insights, exploring trends, and pushing the boundaries of visual storytelling.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of design experience, either in-house or in agency environments.
  • A standout portfolio demonstrating excellent design work, thoughtful art direction, sleek motion/interactions, and elegant data visualizations.
  • Demonstrated experience in executing large scale initiatives like brand systems, websites, campaigns, and bd enablement collateral. 
  • Expertise in guiding creative vision with strong taste, capable of elevating and simplifying complex narratives through impactful visual storytelling.
  • Comfortable collaborating with product designers, helping drive how our brand shows up in product experiences and contributing visual assets like illustrations, icons, and imagery to our design systems.
  • Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration with design leadership, product marketers, business development, and beyond to successfully craft and execute branded experiences.
  • Comfortable contributing to art direction and creative feedback when working with outside creative agencies.
  • Ability to mentor other members of the team, pushing us all to be better.
  • Top communication skills to clearly articulate and discuss your design work.
  • Fluency in Figma, Adobe CC, and Google Suite. 
  • Already integrating AI into your workflows.
  • Low ego, loves to jam with the team, and an open mind. 
  • Experience working with remote teams across different time zones.
  • Bonuses:
