Senior Billing Business Analyst (Temporary Assignment)

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Temporary Senior Billing Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing our billing processes and ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions. The Temporary Senior Billing Business Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze billing processes, and implement solutions to enhance overall billing performance.

For External Candidates:

Candidates must work in-office at one of the following locations for at least 3 days per week: Omaha, NE; Sacramento, CA; Hebron, KY

In this role, you'll get to:

• Evaluate and analyze existing billing processes to identify areas for improvement.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements related to billing.

• Assess billing systems and recommend modifications or enhancements for increased efficiency.

• Work closely with product teams to implement system changes and updates.

• Conduct in-depth data analysis to ensure accuracy in billing information.

• Identify discrepancies in billing data to maintain data integrity.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of billing procedures and processes.

• Generate regular reports on billing performance and provide insights for decision-making.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, product, and customer support, to address billing-related issues.

• Communicate with external vendors and clients regarding billing inquiries and discrepancies.

• Stay informed about industry regulations and compliance standards related to billing.

• Ensure billing practices align with legal and regulatory requirements.

• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in billing operations.

• Provide training and support to internal teams to enhance billing knowledge and compliance.

We're looking for talent with:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Billing Business Analyst or similar role.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in billing software and ERP systems.

• Detail-oriented and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Familiarity with industry best practices and compliance standards.

• Experience with billing in a subscription-based or recurring revenue model.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools.
