As a Senior Back-end Developer, you'll design APIs, configure chat servers, create DB models, and guide a team in backend development.

About the role
In this role, you will be part of our growing and international engineering team, working with a high-quality code base and the latest tools, where you will promote your skills to be an expert in complex backend development. You will build XMPP Chat Application using different servers like ejabberd or mongooseim or prosody. You will unleash your creativity to design APIs for communication between web client (web browser application), mobile app and chat server using client/server protocol or library.
Conduct requirement Analysis, High Level designing, Chat/videochat Server Configuration, Development and Deployment of the chat server.
Scale Architecture designing and Documentation for Asynchronous Data Communication.
Guide/help team (of iOS/Android/Web developers) to implement all features as part of a bigger application.
Create DB Modelling, System Testing, Compatibility Testing of the Chat Application
Nice to have:
Experience using Docker and Kubernetes
Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot
Qualifications
- +4 years working experience in related field.
- Hands-on development experience of implementing live chat and video chat servers.
- Able to write custom server side code as desired such as database operations, custom user defined functions etc.
- Strong understanding of client/server protocols including XMPP ,TCP/IP, HTTP, socket.io, WebSocket, and Ejabberd
- Developer should be able to design APIs for communication between web client (web browser application), mobile app and chat server using client/server protocol or library.
