This position will be filled by a highly motivated Maintenance and Integration Engineer with a passion for developmental integration and maintenance of a new and revolutionary VTOL UAS, and experience performing maintenance and integration responsibilities. You will work heavily with the Maintenance leadership, engineering and a wide spectrum of cross-departments to help build a team focused on solving hard problems and changing the industry forever. The role will be responsible for assisting on planning, coordination, execution and reporting on all facets of the maintenance and integration readiness to the Director of maintenance and Integration.
The Maneuver Dominance team at Anduril works across the entire spectrum of products and business lines, as well as all flight operations and test range management. WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Assist with many aspects of aircraft fabrication, assembly, and operation including structural fabrication, mechanical integration, composites fabrication, and avionics build/integration/test.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain aircraft and subsystems including landing gear, fuel system, flight control, and propulsion.
- Rotor track and balance.
- Perform common airframe construction techniques such as utilizing rivets, mechanical fasteners, nut plates, etc.
- Complete aircraft and equipment documentation.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain site support equipment.
- Communicate mechanical assessment with engineering and production.
- Perform validation and testing of various electronic components using equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and test racks.
- Assist in the development and Implementation of comprehensive maintenance strategies to ensure reliability of ground support systems.
- Prioritize maintenance tasks in accordance with departmental needs.
- Perform proper FOD and tool control practices.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Willing to travel as required.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance ability to obtain Top Secret if needed
- Valid A&P license. or willing to obtain with commensurate experience
- 7+ years or more of airframe and power plant experience.
- Rotary wing balancing experience.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficient with computer use (standard browser, word processing applications).
- Willing to be multi-capable. Which shall include some electr troubleshooting and repair.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a fast paced, challenging work environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- A&P with Inspection Authorization.
- 5+ years Helicopter or VTOL maintenance experience.
- 5 years of developmental test experience.
- Professional avionics experience.
- Experience with CAD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
