N-iX is looking for Senior Automation QA Engineer (.NET/AWS) to join our team and drive the quality of our software products. You will design, build, and maintain test automation frameworks, collaborate closely with development, QA, and DevOps teams, and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. This role offers an opportunity to work with modern tech stacks utilizing .NET, AWS, and leading test automation tools.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and improve automated test frameworks for web applications and APIs using C# (.NET).
- Write and execute automated UI, API, integration, and regression tests.
- Design and implement test strategies in alignment with product requirements.
- Collaborate with developers, and DevOps to ensure test coverage and product quality.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins).
- Troubleshoot and analyze failures in automated tests, working with teams to resolve issues.
- Document test approaches, create and maintain test cases and test plans.
- Contribute to process improvements and develop QA best practices.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (Scrum/Kanban).
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in automation testing of web-based applications.
- Hands-on expertise with .NET/C#, test automation frameworks (NUnit, xUnit, MSTest, SpecFlow).
- Solid knowledge of Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, or similar UI automation tools.
- Experience testing REST APIs, using tools like Postman, and coding API tests with frameworks (e.g. RestSharp).
- Familiarity with AWS (ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS/DynamoDB, CloudWatch).
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar).
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies (unit, integration, system, regression, performance).
- Ability to set up and maintain automated testing environments.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Upper-intermediate written and spoken English.
Would Be a Plus:
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, k6, Gatling).
- Experience with BDD/TDD approaches.
