Sr Associate, Venue Transport Program & Planning:

The Senior Associate, Venue Transport Program & Planning provides project and program management, readiness coordination, governance support, contract administration, and cross-functional integration to ensure LA28’s venue transportation plans are deliverable, aligned, and continuously tested. The role supports test event preparation, oversees readiness tracking, contributes to HR hiring coordination, manages NDAs and vendor admin processes, and organizes internal and external working groups. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the Venue Transport Master Schedule; track milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and change control. 
  • Develop dashboards for KPIs, readiness status, procurement milestones, and vendor performance.
  • Manage information, templates, document control, and knowledge management systems.
  • Support planning and execution of test events, tabletop exercises, venue walkthroughs, and readiness simulations; track actions and closeouts.
  • Organize internal meetings, recurrent working groups, agendas, materials, minutes, and action logs.
  • Coordinate external working groups with agencies, venues, and partners.
  • Administer NDAs, contract change requests, vendor onboarding, and vendor relationship processes.
  • Support procurement scopes, RFX timelines, evaluation, and contract governance.
  • Coordinate with HR on hiring hundreds of venue transport staff between now and 2028; track onboarding milestones and workforce planning inputs.

Background & Requirements:

Experience in project/program management, risk and issue tracking, governance cycles, meeting management, and vendor coordination. Experience with procurement processes, contract administration, NDAs, and large-scale hiring coordination preferred.

Organized, proactive, collaborative, detail‑oriented, able to manage competing priorities, strong communication and stakeholder management. 

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in transportation, planning, project management, business administration, or related field.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
  • Typically works in an office environment in Los Angeles 
  • Occasional field activities will require walking and/or climbing stairs

The annual base salary range for this position is $73,000.00 - $98,000.00. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role. All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28’s operational business needs and applicable law.
