CLA is currently seeking a Senior Associate in National Accounting for Income Taxes (NAIT) to join our team.

How you’ll create opportunities in this Senior Associate – National Accounting for Income Taxes (NAIT) role:

  • Collaborate with clients to provide customized income tax provision and tax advisory services and work closely with other tax team members to identify and research complex tax issues.
  • Focus on engagement management and operational excellence.
  • Coordinate day-to-day global tax provision and tax compliance workstreams with Managers/Directors to ensure projects are progressing timely.
  • Develop and train Associates/Staff team members to help them build inspired careers.
  • Learn new software and / or help develop standardized templates and tools.
  • Willingness to learn new tax concepts.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in professional accounting, finance, or related field required.
  • Eligible to sit for the CPA license preferred.
  • Experience with FASB Subtopic ASC 740 and/or International Accounting Standard 12 – Income Taxes preferred.
  • ONESOURCE Tax Provision (OTP) or other similar income tax provision software preferred.
  • Background in corporate US tax compliance preferred.

Our approach to compensation emphasizes collaboration and career growth. We pay competitive wages and view compensation as an investment in our people. Factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and knowledge may impact position of pay within the range.

The compensation range for this position in California is: $89,000.00 – $173,000.00

The compensation range for this position in Colorado is: $90,000.00 – $156,000.00

The compensation range for this position in Illinois is: $87,100.00 – $156,000.00

The compensation range for this position in New Jersey is: $110,000.00 – $167,000.00

The compensation range for this position in New York is: $113,900.00 – $173,000.00
