RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead with Vision: Partner with Copywriters and Creative Directors to conceptualize and execute innovative, social-first campaigns that resonate, captivate, and convert.

  • Craft with Care: From storyboards to final edits, from big ideas to daily content, ensure every piece of content reflects the brand's essence and meets the highest standards of design.
  • Present with Passion: Articulate your creative decisions to internal teams and clients, always rooting your ideas in strategy and insight.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5-8 years of design experience in an agency setting, with a portfolio that showcases your ability to work across digital and social campaigns.

  • Must be able to use those skills to make the whole spectrum of social content.
  • Must have proficiency in video editing and videography on iphone.
  • Out-of-the-box creative thinker with a portfolio of disruptive work.
  • The ability to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A deep understanding of how to craft visuals that not only look good but also drive results with entertainment and social storytelling platforms, and a high interest in new and emerging social platforms.
  • Spreads Joy! ✨

We look forward to hearing from you! 🎵💃

BASE SALARY RANGE

Our estimated range for this role is $95,000-105,000*

*Don’t let this range drive your decision to apply. Actual compensation packages are based on the level of skill and experience each candidate brings to their role. Similarly, there might also be a more senior or junior position available, that would be a better fit with your expertise. For example, a person may apply for a Senior Creative Producer role, and we may assess that their skills are at the Creative Producer level. Each level has its own compensation range.

At Movers+Shakers, we pride ourselves on competitive salaries, and we work hard to ensure there is pay equity across the company. We welcome open and honest conversations about compensation in all of our initial calls. We look forward to meeting you!

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
