The most forward-thinking marketers choose StackAdapt to orchestrate high-impact campaigns across programmatic advertising and marketing channels.

Overview:

StackAdapt's Advertising Technology team is seeking an operator-builder who partners with internal and external stakeholders to make AI the default mode of work using StackAdapt AI products and solutions. This individual helps build and influence the underlying platforms and data-access infrastructure to develop AI products and solutions end-to-end. They identify problems, build solutions, deploy them, and hand them off.

The ideal candidate understands AI technology, possesses in-depth knowledge of AI platforms like Claude or ChatGPT, and knows how to translate complex AI concepts into actionable programs. This role requires hands-on execution from initial scoping to impact measurement, ensuring AI-driven solutions generate measurable operational improvements across the organization.

This role succeeds with broad context and visibility across the business.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Execute AI-Focused Initiatives: Embed with teams and stakeholders to improve high-leverage workflows with custom tools, agents, skills, and prompt libraries tailored to each team's work.
  • Build AI Solutions: Contribute to internal MCPs and reusable skills, and support adoption.
  • Support Execution Across Teams: Track progress on technical projects, coordinate with AI Automation, Engineering, Product, and other internal stakeholders, and keep initiatives on schedule.
  • Run Ad Hoc Analysis for Partner Teams: Pull data across various databases to answer questions from partner teams, unblock decisions, and validate ideas.
  • Enable AI Workflows: Help individuals achieve first wins with AI and iterate on their own tools and skills.
What You'll Bring to the Table
  • Familiarity with AI development tools and platforms (Claude, ChatGPT), with a hands-on practitioner mindset.
  • 1–3 years of experience in technical program management, technical operations, analytics, or similar roles.
  • Able to take a defined problem, break it into scope, priorities, and next steps, and execute against them.
  • Analytically minded and hands-on with data. Comfortable writing SQL against production warehouses and log stores, tracking the metrics that matter, and using both to answer ad hoc questions from partner teams and measure whether a solution actually worked.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Curiosity and the drive to dig into how things work to uncover root causes and spot new opportunities.
  • Experience in AdTech is preferred.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
