Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated candidate for a Senior Analyst role within our Strategic Sourcing team. This is a unique opportunity to launch a career in healthcare procurement and supply chain.

You will be part of a high-performing team, supporting a variety of spend categories across a diverse portfolio of 7+ categories including Professional Fees, Technology, Lab, Marketing, HR, and more. You will be responsible for supporting multiple internal stakeholders, from a wide spectrum of departments with varied needs, in a demanding, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support a variety of Sourcing projects under the direction of Category Managers.

  • Review supplier contract proposals, ensuring the best terms and quality of service.

  • Collaborate closely with the Legal department to ensure all contracts are compliant with company policies and legal requirements.

  • Collaborate with Clinical, Operational, and Administrative teams.

  • Conduct market research, benchmarking, and supplier assessments.

  • Prepare monthly reports and support analysis of spend, contracts, and vendor performance. 

  • Assist in creation and execution of RFx events and contract templates.

  • Maintain contract and Sourcing documentation within the applicable internal system.

  • Lead or participate in key cost savings initiatives related to payment terms, supplier standardization, Request for Proposals, etc.

  • Utilize creative problem-solving skills and critical thinking to address and overcome Sourcing or project management challenges.

  • Interest in Strategic sourcing, Supply Chain, and Healthcare operations.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel

  • Ability to collaborate and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Quick learner.

  • Collaborative, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

  • Customer service oriented.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Intermediate or higher spreadsheet skills (preferred).

  • High level of integrity and professionalism.

  • Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.

  • Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, or related field). 

  • Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.

This is an exempt position. The base compensation range for this role is $69,700 - $80,000.  At VillageMD, compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc.  The selected candidate will be eligible for a valuable company benefits plan, including health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, and access to a 401k plan.
