Position Summary
As the Senior Analyst, Rebate Analytics for CVS Health, you'll play a critical role monitoring rebate guarantee performance across CVS’ book of business to identify and size global and client-specific opportunities that will aid in rebate mitigation. This may include client-level analysis, book of business analysis, review of tableau dashboards and monitoring of key performance metrics to identify value optimization opportunities to aid in ROI analysis. The team’s primary goal is to monitor client rebate performance, identify outliers, performance trends, and opportunities for exposure mitigation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use and enhance existing models to evaluate actual rebate performance against underwriting forecasts at both client and macro levels.
- Monitor book-of-business tableau dashboards for value optimization opportunities.
- Collaborate effectively with other Rebate Analytics team members.
- Access data via Excel and tools such as SQL/SAS to assess the impact of formulary changes and market events.
- Assess the impact of formulary changes and market events on rebate performance and client profitability at a book-of-business level.
- Partner with Finance, Underwriting, Trade, and Operations to inform budget processes and support client-level accountability.
- Provide consultative support to internal stakeholders on rebate guarantee analysis.
- Support client-specific analyses and discussions and provide consultative support on additional ad-hoc reporting and analysis.
**This is a remote role; candidates can live anywhere in the US.**
Required Qualifications
- 2 + years professional experience in data analytics, finance, pricing or process improvement role or equivalent combination of professional experience and education OR
- 1+ years professional experience in data analytics, finance, pricing, or process improvement role including 1+ year working with PBM data or PBM financial analysis.
- Experience in Microsoft Excel-based analysis and SQL
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking and critical thinking skill sets are required.
- Ability to story tell the findings in clear, concise way when articulating the findings of the analysis to sales, underwriting and other stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience or knowledge of PBM industry or pharmaceuticals is preferred.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage tight deadlines and competing priorities.
- Prior experience working across many different groups within an organization.
- Prior experience designing, implementing, and optimizing new business processes.
- Strong presentation and communication skills with experience presenting to various business groups.
- Ability to interact with others in a collegial and professional manner and help foster teamwork and knowledge sharing to complete key tasks.
- Aptitude to communicate complex findings and conclusions in an easy-to-understand way.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Degree related to finance, mathematics, operations, statistics, actuarial science, data science, economics or other data related fields preferred.

The typical pay range for this role is:
$46,988.00 - $112,200.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
