Job Summary
The Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) is responsible for all financial reporting and variance analysis for assigned markets including preparation of quarterly Board of Director materials. Reporting to the Director of Finance, the SFA will provide executive management support for Regional Presidents as well as manage budget/forecast related questions from internal and external stakeholders. The position will have full P&L ownership of the markets supported and will maintain existing reporting models and financial reports as well as develop additional reporting/modeling capabilities to enhance the level of analysis provided by the FP&A team to both management and operations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field

Work Experience Required:
• 4+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst or related occupation.
• 4+ years of experience engaging in financial reporting, financial data aggregation, M&A analysis, & preparation of financial variance analyses for multistate healthcare providers; & preparing financial reports in support of executive decision-making.
Preferred Qualifications, Education, Licenses, Certifications, Experience, etc.:
• Experience in a multi-site, multi-entity or joint venture environment
• Prior financial services experience (investment banking, management consulting, etc.)
• Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Advanced Microsoft Excel modeling and PowerPoint skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Advanced experience creating professional presentations for board meetings or executive reviews.
• Must be able to apply sound judgment beyond a specific set of instructions and apply knowledge to different factual situations.
• Must be able to apply principles of critical thinking to a variety of practical and emergent situations and accurately follow standardized procedures that may call for deviations.
• Ability to digest large amounts of data and synthesize it into high level, key talking points, be able to “tell the story;” ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
• Ability to think creatively, be proactive, highly driven, self-starter.
• Process driven, ability to understand and assess existing processes and recommend and implement changes to drive efficiencies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• This role involves interaction and collaboration with other departments and requires excellent judgment and interpersonal skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Engage in financial reporting, data aggregation, and occasional merger & acquisition (M&A) analysis for joint venture partners.
• Prepare annual budget and quarterly forecasts for assigned joint venture partners.
• Prepare financial statement reporting & variance analysis across all assigned joint venture partners.
• Prepare financial reports and analyses to support executive decision making.
• Partner with finance leadership to understand nuanced concepts and tradeoffs within Company’s operating model.
• Drive efficiencies and standardization in existing financial reporting and processes.
• Assist with ad hoc financial analyses to support operations, promoting profitable and sustainable decision making.

Physical Requirements
• Office Environment: Tasks may be conducted within a climate-controlled office setting.
• Physical Activity: The role may require the ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials, supplies, and equipment (up to 10 lbs.) Duties typically involve a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with frequent changes in position.
• Travel: Travel may be required, including travel between Company locations and out-of town destinations as needed.
• Safety Equipment: May require the use of safety equipment for infection prevention.
