The FP&A team is looking for a high-visibility Senior Analyst. This Senior Analyst will play a critical role in providing data-driven analysis. The analysis will help define Crunchyroll's long-range plans, specifically those related to its streaming membership benefits and investments.
You will operate at the heart of our organization, leading the budgeting, forecasting, and actual analysis for our streaming membership portfolio. This role will work cross‑functionally with teams in digital manga, eCommerce, game vault, mobile games, accounting, business development, and corporate strategy.
You will handle the monthly analysis of actual business performance, working with accounting and business intelligence to consolidate and interpret financial information. You will report to the Sr Manager FP&A. We are considering candidates who can work hybrid from our LA office.
- Build financial models to evaluate streaming membership benefits performance, profitability, and long-term value across products and bundled benefits
- Analyze subscriber behavior - including acquisition, churn, retention, engagement, and LTV - to guide product strategy
- Develop dashboards to track and present performance, benefit use, and portfolio economics.
- Lead forecasting, long-range planning, and monthly performance reporting for membership benefits and Goals
- Perform actuals to budget variance analysis and collaborate with Accounting team to ensure integrity of financial reporting
- Translate complex financial insights into clear, relevant recommendations for senior management
- Monitor trends across digital manga, streaming, gaming, eCommerce, and subscription ecosystems to identify opportunities and inform strategy
- Be an important contributor to the Finance team and help structure/improve Finance processes
- Spearhead any projects that you believe will move the needle
- 5+ years of experience in FP&A, Strategic Planning, Investment Banking, or Consulting
- Advanced financial modeling skills, with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
- Comfortable with managing large volumes of data and synthesizing into insightful executive information
- AI tool experience and ability to lead business analysis and modeling
- Experience using NetSuite, Adaptive, Board, or other enterprise software.
- Experience presenting to a non-finance audience
- Prior experience at a media/entertainment/tech or subscription based business
