How you will make an impact:
- Analyze competitive market survey results to assess the competitiveness of Edwards executive and equity compensation programs, using results to develop variance analysis for Executive Compensation Management, propose alternatives to executive programs and company-wide equity programs, and involved in discussions of alternatives to determine program development
- Perform complex cost impact and share utilization analyses, including dilution, overhang, and burn rate for executive compensation and global equity programs, as a basis for developing grant recommendations
- Resolve executive and equity-eligible employee questions or issues, globally
- Develop quantitative information for CD&A and shareholder proposal proxy sections, as well as conducting final review of sections
- Develop specifications for Executive Deferred Compensation and oversee vendors’ system development
- Draft/update and coordinate approval of all executive compensation plan and global equity grant communications
What you’ll need (Required):
- Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of related experience in compensation
What else we look for (Preferred):
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of policies, procedures, and requirements as it relates to executive compensation
- Experience with proxy, CD&A, equity plan design, compensation committee materials, compensation committee materials, ownership guidelines, and deferred compensation plan
- Prior experience working for a global organization with exposure to various regions across the world
- CPP certification preferred
- Understanding of and experience with securities, compliance, tax, accounting, and general as it relates to executive compensation and equity
- Substantial negotiation and conflict resolution skills with strong leadership skills and ability to influence change
- Ability to assess risks, analyze situations and determine next course of action
- Ability to manage internal and external confidential information with utmost discretion
- Develops solutions to a variety of complex problems and identifies opportunities for process improvement
- Contributes to the completion of significant organizational projects and goals
- Must be able to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams, assigned client group(s), and key contacts representing the organization on contracts or projects
- Ability to build productive internal/external working relationships
- Ability to interact with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations
- Proven expertise in usage of MS Office Suite and related data management tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills including consultative and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives
- Proven success adhering to and leading project schedules and managing projects
- Good presentation and facilitation skills
This role is flexible to sit remotely within the US but will have to adhere to some Pacific Time Zone hours.
Aligning our overall business objectives with performance, we offer competitive salaries, performance-based incentives, and a wide variety of benefits programs to address the diverse individual needs of our employees and their families.
The base pay range for this position is $90,000 to $127,000 (highly experienced). The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience). Applications will be accepted while this position is posted on our Careers website.
