The Sr Analyst eCommerce Planning is responsible for delivering accurate in-season product forecasts, analytics and inventory management for US eCommerce. This role will build, track and communicate performance against the monthly plan and update as necessary. They will provide concise and timely updates to the ecommerce team and key business stakeholders.

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:

  • Build, maintain and optimize in-season sales reporting across all product categories. Provide tools and reporting of performance vs forecast and vs previous periods.
  • Track and update buy plans at the category and SKU level as part of ongoing RF process. Work closely with Finance to ensure the monthly RF process is executed exceptionally and we track closely to the AOP.
  • Work with E-Commerce Planning Analyst to track inventory for eCommerce via bulk order process and direct inventory transfers. Monitors inventory and sell-through performance to inform markdown decisions and promotions.
  • Manages DTC in-season forecast and provides weekly updates on performance against monthly forecast, prepares monthly executive review summaries.
  • Conducts weekly inventory and sell-through review to identify and predict inventory shortfalls. Work closely across the business to ensure inventory is optimized for sell through.
  • Develop best practices for the planning function and partner with finance and IT to ensure that we are getting the best data and reporting for the team to analyze the business. Use this data to provide timely and accurate updates on a weekly basis.
  • Communicates to the US Planning team the buy plan for eCommerce exclusive products throughout the year and tracks against this.
  • Communicates product performance to category leads and US Sales team to inform decisions within sales and product creation.
  • Performs other related duties and assignments as required

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

  • Strong analytical capabilities, experience building sales performance dashboard and using analytical models.
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite; Advanced Excel skills - thorough understanding of macros, pivot tables, lookup formulas, formatting, etc.
  • Good planning and organization skills, resulting in the ability to meet critical deadlines
  • Exceptional ability to build clear and concise executive facing overviews of product performance.
  • Ability to identify issues and problem solve with several variables in standardized situations
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, written and verbal

Education, Work Experience, and Professional Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in merchandise planning in an eCommerce environment
  • Experience working with Retail/eCommerce KPI’s and retail math and merchandising systems/applications.
  • Experience in the sporting goods industry preferred with knowledge of trends and/or athletic product lines

Work Environment / Physical Requirements:

  • Normal office environment, consistent computer use
  • Occasional travel required
  • Ability to work extended hours as necessary
  • Light physical effort equal to frequent lifting or moving of lightweight materials
  • Regularly required to sit or stand, bend and reach.

TaylorMade is a performance driven organization and our total rewards approach to compensation is designed to support this. We consider many factors in determining base compensation, including position scope, job related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location. The expected annual base pay range for this position is $85,000 - $100,000. Additional benefits, such as health & wellness, performance bonuses, product discounts, holidays, paid time off, etc. may also be offered in accordance with our plans.
