Partnering with our business verticals and functions, the Strategy and Ventures team is assisting with their near- and longer-term growth strategies, as well as shaping our 2025 corporate strategy. We are also progressing ResMed’s corporate development agenda, focusing on growth through mergers and acquisitions (M&A), partnerships and new business creation.

We are seeking a skilled, motivated and self-starting Senior analyst / Manager to join the dynamic Strategy and Ventures team. This role combines analytical expertise with strategic insight to drive informed decision-making across the organization. As Senior Analyst / Manager, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to assess market and business opportunities, provide data-driven recommendations, and support business development initiatives.

This role requires a mix of analytical and strategic thinking skills to identify patterns and trends, evaluate opportunities, and guide critical business decisions.
The work will include specific focus on supporting growth and M&A strategy development, which will require a strong financial analysis and modeling skillset.

Let’s talk about Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Insights

  • Acquire, manage, analyze and interpret variously sized datasets to identify patterns and trends, provide actionable insights and recommendations, and overall evaluate business and strategic opportunities.

Strategy Development & Business Support

  • Conduct business, competitive and market analyses to identify growth opportunities and industry trends, working together with other team members.
  • Perform financial analyses and modeling to assess business performance and strategic initiatives or scenarios.
  • Support strategic initiatives across the organization, including market sizing, white space identification, and long-term growth planning.
  • Act as a liaison for in-scope strategic projects, tracking implementation plans and ensuring disciplined execution.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to gather and prioritize business requirements, as well as execute against in-scope strategic projects.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all organizational levels, including executive leadership.
  • Support corporate partnerships, business development, minority venture investment and M&A efforts by conducting analyses supporting due diligence and the evaluation of potential opportunities.

Let’s talk about Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics or related fields.
  • 2+ years of experience in business analytics, economics or strategy consulting, investment banking, corporate finance or strategy.
  • Strong familiarity with the healthcare or digital health industry.
  • Exposure to partnerships, joint ventures, minority investment and M&A processes.
  • Advanced Excel analytical skills with experience in business and financial modeling as well as data manipulation.
  • Preferred experience with SQL and BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • High intellectual curiosity combined with a self-starting and results-driven mindset.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and present complex ideas effectively.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.

Individual pay decisions are based on a variety of factors, such as the candidate’s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.

At ResMed, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  A reasonable estimate of the current base range for this position is  $113,000 - $169,000 USD Annual
