ABOUT THIS ROLE
The Sr. Analyst, Commercial Operations, supports both the Commercial Systems and Commercial Strategy functions. This hybrid role bridges technical operations with pricing, inventory, and distribution, ensuring smooth daily operations and contributing to strategic initiatives. You’ll work cross-functionally to maintain system stability, optimize inventory, and ensure accurate fare and schedule distribution across platforms.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Systems & Operational Support
- Provide frontline technical support for Darwin (PSS), Aptaero (DCS), and Leon (scheduling)
- Troubleshoot external distribution issues and escalate to vendors (e.g., Sabre, Darwin)
- Participate in on-call rotation and support during IROPs
- Assist with testing and release cycles for Aptaero and DarwinFile airport/terminal details for unanticipated diversions
- Coordinate with the strategy team to ensure accurate fare and schedule filing
- File fares in ATPCO and manage schedules via Cirium/OAG
- Audit external distribution channels for accurate fare and schedule display
- Troubleshoot pricing and scheduling issues
- Optimize inventory daily based on load factors and crowdsource products
- Maintain schedule data in Leon, including tail assignments and fleet linking
- Identify empty scheduled flights for potential charter use
- Support charter planning and commission filing with Business Development
- Contribute to strategic initiatives and commercial planning efforts
Commercial Strategy & Distribution
REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years of experience in airline systems (PSS, DCS, GDS) and/or commercial planning required
- Proficiency in fare filing (ATPCO), schedule tools (Cirium/OAG), and inventory optimization
- Strong troubleshooting skills in system integration and external distribution
- Analytical mindset with Excel/reporting proficiency
- Effective communicator and cross-functional collaborator
- Comfortable with on-call support and working under pressure during IROPs
- Able to adapt and thrive in a dynamic start-up environment
BENEFITS & PAY
- Pay Range: $80,000-90,000 in Los Angeles, CA [exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.]
