Position Summary

The Senior Analyst will operate within a collaborative “pod-like” structure, working alongside 2–3 other Senior Analysts and under the guidance of a Manager-level Business Analyst. This role supports an operational area within the Senior Supplement Insurance business and plays a key part in bridging business needs with technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and analyze vendor and customer requirements; translate them into actionable product backlog items or process improvements.
  • Develop process documentation and create user story maps to support agile delivery.
  • Present Features and User Stories to agile scrum teams; ensure requested changes are implemented through completion.
  • Partner with Product Owners to support development teams and perform business validations.
  • Apply business knowledge to creatively interpret data and identify additional information needed for analysis.
  • Investigate production issues reported by operations teams; perform root cause analysis and assess full impact to prioritize solutions.
  • Assist with audits and remediation activities as required.
  • Support implementation and rollout of vendor/customer products; collaborate with training teams to ensure operational readiness.
  • Coordinate with vendors on issue reporting and resolution.
  • Analyze data trends and convert findings into actionable insights.
  • Provide comprehensive analysis of business implications and apply problem-solving skills to meet operational objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience with Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions.
  • 1–3 years of experience with Microsoft SQL, with ability to write and optimize queries.
  • Strong understanding of requirements gathering techniques and documentation practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Healthcare  and/or Insurance Industry experience.
  • Experience with Broker & Agency onboarding, licensing, and commissions.
  • Experience performing root cause analysis and impact assessments.
  • Familiarity with Agile principles, including SAFe and Scrum frameworks.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$46,988.00 - $112,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
