Here at Hometap, we’re collaborative, passionate, and always ready to roll up our sleeves to create solutions that help people get more out of homeownership — and out of life. Our first product, a home equity investment, gives homeowners the opportunity to quickly access the equity they’ve built in their home to pay for what’s most important to them, from handling debt to finally making much-needed renovations, without taking on debt.

We work hard, and have some fun along the way, too. You don’t have to take our word for it: The Boston Globe and Forbes have recognized us as a great place to work, and we’ve been honored for our commitment to innovation in the fintech space by Inc., HousingWire, and more!

In case you need any more convincing, we also provide competitive compensation, healthcare coverage, generous PTO, a meaningful equity package, and a strong culture with plenty of opportunities for team-building and camaraderie.

Interested in joining us on our mission to make homeownership less stressful and more accessible? We’d love to talk.

Who you are:

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Analyst, Affiliate Marketing to join our team! In this role, you’ll make a direct impact on the growth of our affiliate program by managing key partner relationships, identifying new partner opportunities, and supporting marketing campaigns. You’ll also own reporting and analytics to track performance, uncover insights, and help optimize strategy, while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across partners and internal teams. This is the perfect role if you’re passionate about growth, excited by experimentation, and eager to deepen your expertise in affiliate marketing, business development, and analytics — all while working with a fun, collaborative team that is critical to the business’ success.

What you'll do:

Drive Affiliate Program Growth

  • Source and evaluate new affiliate partners and marketplaces, identifying high-value opportunities for growth
  • Own outreach efforts — from initial contact to conducting discovery calls and partnership discussions
  • Manage the full onboarding process, ensuring partners are set up in our CRM with accurate records
  • Collect and confirm campaign details (offers, payouts, tracking links, creative) to ensure a seamless launch
  • Build strong relationships early on by providing partners with the tools and resources needed for them to be successful

Manage and Optimize Partner Relationships

  • Build trusted relationships with affiliates by providing high-impact creative and strategic support
  • Oversee an affiliate agency to source, manage and optimize new partner opportunities, ensuring alignment with growth goals and strategy
  • Track and optimize partner performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and scale
  • Keep our partner CRM sharp and up to date with clean, actionable data

Campaign & Creative Execution

  • Support creative testing and provide strategic feedback to boost campaign performance
  • Showcase Hometap’s thought leadership by activating educational content across partner platforms
  • Collaborate with internal and external engineering teams to bring Hometap into partner experiences
  • Partner with Sales to launch new sales motions  that fuel channel growth
  • Ensure all campaigns are brand-aligned and meet compliance requirements

Reporting & Analytics

  • Own reporting to track affiliate performance, weekly lead volume, and return on investment
  • Analyze data to uncover trends, insights, and opportunities for scaling
  • Present clear, actionable summaries to stakeholders across Marketing

What you bring:

  • 2–4 years of experience in growth marketing, affiliate marketing, or partnerships
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills — Excel/Google Sheets proficiency required; BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Heap) a bonus
  • Experience working with CRMs or partner tracking systems (e.g. Salesforce, TUNE)

What you’ll gain:

  • A high-ownership role where your work directly drives growth and revenue
  • Hands-on experience launching and scaling affiliate campaigns from the ground up
  • Exposure to cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Legal
  • Opportunities to build expertise in reporting, analytics, and partner management
  • A fast-moving, supportive team that values curiosity, creativity, and big thinking

Our team is what makes us great. The salary range for this role is $85,000 - $95,000, depending on your experience, skills, location, and other factors. You’ll also receive meaningful equity, so you can share in our growth and success. We offer generous medical, dental, and vision coverage, a work-from-home stipend, parental leave, and plenty of paid time off to recharge.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
