Together, we’re creating a better way to work, united by our common passion to make a difference.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a strategic and experienced Senior Affiliate Marketing Manager to own and expand our affiliate marketing initiatives across emerging audiences, new product categories, and innovative partner programs. With 12+ years of experience in performance marketing and partner development, you’ll drive scalable growth through both established and experimental affiliate strategies. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how eHealth engages new market segments, tests affiliate-led programs, and launches innovative health-related offerings in a highly regulated space.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead Affiliate Strategy Across New Growth Frontiers: Define and execute a roadmap for affiliate expansion into emerging audiences, new product categories, and innovative distribution programs. Prioritize untapped opportunities that align with business goals and market needs.

  • Strategic Partner Development: Identify, recruit, and manage a portfolio of high-impact affiliate partners, including performance networks, content creators, influencers, and emerging digital platforms across multiple customer acquisition funnels.

  • New Program Innovation: Launch and scale affiliate-driven pilots for new products or services. Work cross-functionally to test program design, lead quality, and customer conversion strategies for emerging offerings.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Product, Analytics, Marketing, Legal, and Compliance to ensure seamless execution of partner programs and alignment with internal priorities.

  • Channel Performance Management: Use data to optimize and forecast the affiliate channel’s contribution to revenue, call volume, and lead generation across both core and emerging product lines.

  • Operational Excellence: Establish repeatable processes for onboarding, reporting, and scaling partners. Create best practices for partner engagement, compliance, and performance optimization.

  • Leadership & Influence: Lead regular business reviews, drive accountability for outcomes, and act as the internal voice of affiliate partners. Clearly communicate business impact and growth opportunities to executive stakeholders.

  • Regulatory Alignment: Collaborate with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure all affiliate and partner-led programs meet industry regulations, especially in healthcare and insurance environments.

  • Demonstrate eHealth’s values in your behaviors, practices, and decisions.

Who you are:

  • 12+ years of experience in performance marketing, affiliate marketing, or strategic partnerships, with a strong emphasis on building and scaling growth programs.

  • Proven ability to create and execute go-to-market strategies for new audiences, products, or distribution programs within fast-paced, high-growth environments.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience building forecasts, optimizing ROI, and managing partner/channel-level performance metrics.

  • Experience launching and scaling new programs or products through affiliate channels.

  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with a proven track record of influencing cross-functional teams and external partners.

  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and working in a highly regulated industry such as healthcare, insurance, or financial services.

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.

What we offer:

  • Generous benefits include medical, dental and vision beginning on your first day of employment

  • 401K with matching

  • Tuition reimbursement

  • Employee stock purchase program

  • 12 company paid holidays and flexible time off (PTO for non-exempt)

*Please note the above is a summary of responsibilities; a full job description is available upon request.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
