About RevenueBase

We're building the data infrastructure that makes AI agents trustworthy instead of error-prone. We provide continuously refreshed, verified B2B data and tools for humans and autonomous AI agents.

The Opportunity: High-Scale Stealth Engineering

We are looking for an elite Senior Adversarial Infrastructure Engineer on a contract bais to lead our high-scale data enumeration initiatives. This isn't a "scripting" job—it is a sophisticated engineering challenge. You will be responsible for building and scaling systems capable of processing 1 million+ records per hour against some of the most well-defended enterprise platforms on the web.

You are the right person if you find standard browser automation "too loud" and prefer hunting for undocumented mobile APIs, reverse-engineering private endpoints, and staying one step ahead of world-class anti-bot teams.

What You’ll Do
  • Architect Distributed Stealth Systems: Design and deploy horizontally scalable scraping nodes (Go or Python/Asyncio) on AWS Lambda/Fargate or Kubernetes to maintain massive throughput.

  • Hidden API Discovery: Use Charles Proxy, Fiddler, or Burp Suite to map out undocumented internal APIs and mobile backend endpoints—finding the "backdoor" pathways that bypass heavy front-end obfuscation.

  • Fingerprint Evasion: Implement advanced techniques to bypass enterprise-grade bot detection, specifically focusing on TLS fingerprinting (JA3), HTTP/2 headers, and browser fingerprinting evasion.

  • Orchestrate Massive Infrastructure: Manage large-scale residential and mobile proxy pools to ensure a sustained rate of 1M+ requests per hour while optimizing for cost and success rate.

  • Build for Resilience: Develop real-time monitoring to track success rates and "burn" rates of proxy infrastructure, ensuring the system can recover automatically when targets update their defenses.

What We’re Looking For
  • The "Stealth" Toolkit: Deep experience with Playwright/Puppeteer (when necessary) and custom HTTP clients (e.g., curl_cffi, cycle-tls) for high-speed, headless extraction.

  • Massive Scale Experience: You have managed data pipelines that process millions of requests daily and understand the nuances of rate-limiting at the IP, session, and header level.

  • Reverse Engineering Mastery: You are comfortable deconstructing mobile apps or complex JavaScript bundles to find data endpoints.

  • Builder Mindset: You want to build the "ghost" architecture that runs seamlessly in the background and can be handed off to our core team for long-term maintenance.

Why Join Us?
  • Technical Sovereignty: We don't care how you get the data, as long as it's efficient and reliable. You own the technical strategy and the stack.

  • High-Stakes Challenges: You’ll be working against the highest level of web security in existence.

  • Elite Peer Group: We are a lean, technical team building the data foundation for the AI era.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
