We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Ad Operations Manager II, to lead and scale ad monetization efforts across our mobile gaming portfolio. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams including Ad Tech Product, Engineering, and Monetization to ensure the seamless launch, optimization, and growth of advertising revenue. You will manage a global Ad Ops team, drive operational efficiencies, and help shape the tools and processes that power our ad stack.
Your expertise will be instrumental in troubleshooting ad delivery issues, analyzing ad call responses, and uncovering new opportunities for revenue growth. A strong technical understanding of advertising technologies, combined with excellent communication and analytical skills, will enable you to deliver actionable insights, foster cross-team alignment, and ensure a high-performing ad experience for our players.
By driving process improvement, leveraging data, and staying ahead of industry trends, you will play a key role in maximizing revenue, ensuring compliance, and supporting the long-term success of our games.
Responsibilities:
- Manage, mentor more junior team members
- Create mitigation plans to decrease issues and increase efficiency for projects that are live
- Closely monitor the reporting KPIs for all partners to surface any ad serving issues and/or data discrepancies
- Help identify the root cause for poor performing creative, low fill rate or other potential revenue-harming incidents
- Debug ads when necessary and validate that all creative specifications are followed
- Support campaign set up and validate key metrics (including campaign fulfillment) at launch
- Work with ad partner integration teams for onboarding and ramp up new demand partners via our in-house ad server
- Work as a key member of the ad team as the responsible party for post-release validation on features including impact to live integrations
- Work closely with the monetization analysts on continuous forecasting of expected ROI on features released potential benefit
- Work with the BI team to check reporting API against internal summaries
- Document reporting APIs for various partners, reporting any discrepancies to the product and engineering teams
- Provide operational assistance in the setup and delivery of cross-promotional campaigns
- Work with product teams to improve the efficiency of cross-promotional tools
- Work with the Finance team on reconciliation and any data issues
- Research and keep updated of industry best practices
Qualifications for Position:
- Bachelor’s or Advanced degree (or equivalent) in a field such as Computer Science or Math
- 3-5+ years managing and growing operations team
- 5+ years work experience in Digital Advertising (mobile advertising strongly preferred)
- Basic understanding of system logs, device logs, API response codes and other technologies related to advertising required
- A solid understanding of real time bidding is a plus
- Familiarity with various SSPs, DSPs, ad networks and the market landscape
- Comfortable analyzing data and applying a methodical approach to troubleshooting issues
- Able to effectively translate findings to variety of stakeholders
- Software development background highly desired
- Ability to work productively with others in a highly collaborative manner
- Experience with SQL and Tableau a plus

The range listed is just one component of MobilityWare’ s total compensation package for employees, which may include short- and long-term incentives and program-specific awards. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, certifications, location, business needs, or market demands. This range is based on a full-time position. This range may be modified in the future. The annual base salary pay range for this role is $100,000-$900,000.
