Job DescriptionBryceTech is looking for a Sr Acq Specialist to provide advisory & assistance services (A&AS) to support a major defense program, focusing on Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition life cycle planning and Space Force systems. This role involves supporting ACAT-like major acquisition programs, source selection activities, budgeting, and coordination with contracts and financial management experts. The ideal candidate will have experience with DoD acquisition regulations (FAR/DFARS), contract lifecycle management, and working within U.S. Space Force programs.
Key responsibilities include:
Develop source selection documentation
Facilitating defense acquisition boards including managing documentation, capturing decisions, following up on actions
Support the development of technical solicitation products such as work statements, acquisition plans, technical readiness assessments
Review and draft proposal evaluations
Support contract and subcontract management
Provide acquisition recommendations and guidance
Support program budgeting activities including reviewing and providing recommendations/input to pretendents budget request
Educational Requirements:
Masters
REQUIRED Experience Requirements:
Recognized expert in Federal, DoD, Air Force, and SSC acquisition processes and procedures
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in DoD solicitation evaluation and assessments including rubric development, technical reviews, and engineering assessments.
Demonstrated ability to lead all aspects of highly classified ACAT-like acquisition processes
Experience in all levels of management on acquisition, financial management, budgeting, risk avoidance and mitigation, strategy and problem solving, and other forms of program support
Proficiency preparing technical documentation and reviewing staff products
Demonstrated ability to coordinate between Government organizations and summarize information for presentations
Experience working with Space Systems Command (SSC) or other Space Force organizations.
