Job Description

BryceTech is looking for a Sr Acq Specialist to provide advisory & assistance services (A&AS) to support a major defense program, focusing on Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition life cycle planning and Space Force systems.  This role involves supporting ACAT-like major acquisition programs, source selection activities, budgeting, and coordination with contracts and financial management experts. The ideal candidate will have experience with DoD acquisition regulations (FAR/DFARS), contract lifecycle management, and working within U.S. Space Force programs. 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Develop source selection documentation 

  • Facilitating defense acquisition boards including managing documentation, capturing decisions, following up on actions 

  • Support the development of technical solicitation products such as work statements, acquisition plans, technical readiness assessments 

  • Review and draft proposal evaluations 

  • Support contract and subcontract management 

  • Provide acquisition recommendations and guidance

  • Support program budgeting activities including reviewing and providing recommendations/input to pretendents budget request 

Qualifications

Educational Requirements:  

  • Masters 

REQUIRED Experience Requirements:  

  • Recognized expert in Federal, DoD, Air Force, and SSC acquisition processes and procedures 

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in DoD solicitation evaluation and assessments including rubric development, technical reviews, and engineering assessments.  

  • Demonstrated ability to lead all aspects of highly classified ACAT-like acquisition processes   

  • Experience in all levels of management on acquisition, financial management, budgeting, risk avoidance and mitigation, strategy and problem solving, and other forms of program support 

  • Proficiency preparing technical documentation and reviewing staff products 

  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate between Government organizations and summarize information for presentations 

  • Experience working with Space Systems Command (SSC) or other Space Force organizations. 

Security Clearance:  

  • Active TS SCI Eligible
