We have partnered with a highly-regarded leader in the fitness industry seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to join their team.

 

Responsibilities:

·       Regularly meet with all accounting staff to ensure tasks are completed on time, foster a collaborative workflow, and address any open issues or questions.

·       Perform daily cash management reconciliation and report findings to the CFO and COO.

·       Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes.

·       Create and maintain an updated accounting and reporting cycle calendar that is visible to the team, highlighting dependencies and task owners to ensure consistent adherence to deadlines.

·       Serve as the primary point of contact with our CPA firm for PBC reports, financial results, and follow-up queries, ensuring the timely delivery of annual reviewed statements to meet lender covenants and tax filing deadlines.

·       Provide accounting support for affiliated entities as needed.

·       Collaborate with the CFO to prepare annual budgets and upload them to the ERP system (Sage Intacct).

·       Ensure proper security measures and segregation of duties are consistently maintained.

·       Identify errors and recommend process improvements for greater efficiency and better results.

·       Offer technical support and advice to internal teams.

·       Review and propose changes to accounting systems and procedures.

·       Contribute to the department’s goal-setting processes.

·       Actively lead in ERP and system upgrades or conversions.

·       Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to enhance internal controls.

·       Work closely with the CFO to refine and improve financial procedures.
