We are looking for a highly analytical and precise Senior Accounting Analyst to provide dedicated financial support to our MarketForce team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, performing complex reconciliations, supporting audits, and analyzing key financial data to help drive business decisions.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Perform complex account reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and variance analyses.

  • Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring deadlines are met.

  • Assist with internal and external audits by providing detailed schedules, documentation, and responses to inquiries.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, FP&A, and payroll, to ensure accurate cost tracking and reporting.

  • Help maintain and improve internal controls, accounting processes, and financial systems.

  • Provide insightful analysis on key financial metrics, trends, and business drivers to support management decision-making.

  • Support system upgrades or transitions, including data validation and testing.

  • Identify opportunities for automation or process enhancements to improve efficiency and data accuracy.

  • Assist with special projects and ad hoc financial analysis as required.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or progress toward certification preferred.
  • 3–5 years of relevant accounting or financial analysis experience, preferably in a BPO, shared services, or fast-paced corporate environment.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, with a collaborative mindset and desire to contribute to team success.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset. The employee will be regularly required to operate a computer and other office equipment, including a phone, copier, and printer. The employee may occasionally be required to move about the office to accomplish tasks; reach in any direction; raise or lower objects, move objects from place to place, hold onto objects, and move or exert force up to forty (40) pounds.
