As a Senior Accountant, you will oversee accounting functions including the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and ledger maintenance. You will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings.
- Provide financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making within the organization.
- Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits.
- Mentor and train junior accounting staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with financial reporting tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
