What You’ll Do: 


Global Accounting Operations 

  • Supervise the Accounts Payable function, which includes vendor management, the proper recording of all vendor payables, vendor payments, credit card management, and employee expense reporting. 
  • Manage all internal transfers of cash and the treasury fraud control function; initiate wires as needed. 

Financial Reporting & Close 

  • Complete assigned month-end and year-end close tasks, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting; review close tasks of assigned staff and provide corrective actions if necessary. 
  • Review reconciliations and perform month/month flux analyses to ensure integrity of financial results. 
  • Build and maintain balance sheet schedules to ensure all entries are booked properly, and the schedule balances reconcile to the Trial Balance each month-end. 

Technical Accounting & Compliance 

  • Ensure all assigned bookings comply with U.S. GAAP. 
  • Support all external audits, including financial statement and 401(k) audits. 

Internal Controls & Process Optimization 

  • Collaborate with Global Controller to develop and implement policies/procedures to enhance financial controls and operational efficiency. 
  • Oversee the implementations of Airbase and Navan across the global enterprise, which includes the integration of both apps with NetSuite. 

Leadership 

  • Mentor assigned accounting staff on best practices; serve as a first point of escalation on all issues; ensure the team is following internal accounting policies and adhering to U.S. GAAP. 
  • Collaborate with FP&A to ensure they understand our financial results.  

 

What You’ll Need: 

  • 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in an external auditing role with a Top 20 U.S. public accounting firm, and at least 2 years in a corporate accounting role (SaaS/Technology industry preferred) 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting 
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and technical accounting principles
  • Experience building and maintaining Balance Sheet supporting schedules 
    Preferred: 
  • Masters in Accountancy (or an MBA) 
  • Active CPA license 
  • Proficiency using NetSuite 
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Excel  
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
