About Us:
At Ember Lab, we aim to create powerful, transformative experiences that impact people for a lifetime. We released our debut game, Kena: Bridge of Spirits, in 2021.Our journey into interactive media is just beginning and we are growing fast. We’re looking for collaborative team members who share our passion for storytelling and are eager to help us shape the future of Ember Lab.
We’re looking for a thoughtful, detail-driven Senior Accountant to support the next chapter of our team’s growth. This role is ideal for someone who brings deep accounting experience but is energized by systems, strategy, and supporting big-picture decisions with accurate, insightful financials.
You won’t just be closing the books, you’ll be helping us build the financial backbone of a growing organization. From preparing budgets and forecasts to mentoring junior staff and tightening processes, you’ll be a key player in keeping our operations both steady and scalable.
This is more than just accounting. It’s a chance to help shape how we grow. You’ll work closely with department heads to support smarter budgeting, surface insights from financial trends, and create reporting that drives clarity and confidence. You'll also own general ledger management, oversee financial statements in line with GAAP, and make sure reconciliations are complete and clean.
After 90 days, you’ll help us document and strengthen our core financial processes. From there, we’ll look to you to help guide the future of our finance team, whether that means training others, hiring support, or leaning into strategic work as the organization evolves.
If you're excited to bring both structure and vision to a growing company and to build systems that last, we'd love to work with you.
