Your Job Opportunity:

EVPassport is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our expanding finance and accounting team. In this role, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting the month-end close process, and driving operational excellence across key accounting functions

This position is ideal for a Senior Accountant with 3+ years of experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to make a measurable impact in a quickly growing organization.

You will work closely with the Controller and VP of Finance, aligning strategies and driving initiatives to ensure accurate financial reporting, support the month-end close process, and drive operational excellence across key accounting functions.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support all aspects of the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and revenue recognition.
  • Assist in preparing management reporting packages and financial analyses for senior leadership.
  • Collaborate closely with the Controller to develop and implement process improvements and strengthen internal controls.
  • Support the optimization and maintenance of the company’s ERP system (NetSuite), including data integrity and automation initiatives.
  • Assist with external audits, tax filings, and compliance reporting, working directly with external auditors and consultants.
  • Partner cross-functionally with departments, including Operations, Sales, and HR, to ensure accurate financial data and reporting.
  • Additional projects as may be assigned by the Company. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or progress toward CPA preferred but not required.
  • 3+ years of relevant accounting experience in a high-growth environment or a company backed by private equity or venture capital.
  • Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite.
  • Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to work on-site at the Santa Monica headquarters Monday through Thursday.

Salary: $80,000-$95,000 | Placement within this base salary range depends upon several factors, including prior relevant job experience and skill set.]
