We are looking for a Senior Accountant to manage financial records, compliance, audit preparation, and support financial reporting for a nonprofit.

We’re partnering with a well-established nonprofit organization seeking a new Senior Accountant to join their finance team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting compliance efforts, and ensuring smooth day-to-day accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support core accounting functions, including general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and oversight of accounts payable and receivable.
- Assist with audit preparation, including compiling backup documentation, responding to auditor inquiries, and maintaining compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
- Partner with program and department leaders to support financial reporting and assist with grant tracking and budget alignment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- 4 - 7 years of progressive nonprofit accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
