You will
- Prepare, maintain, update, and manage tax working papers for multiple entities, including preparation of continuity and reconciliation schedules
- Research and resolve discrepancies between tax balances and accounting balances
- Prepare corporate and partnership tax returns, elections, forms and regulatory filings
- Prepare responses to inquiries and requests of tax authorities
- Assist in preparation of tax provision working paper and tax estimate calculations
- Assist in tax planning, research and analysis work
- Assist in corresponding with investors for tax related questions
- Assist in designing and implementing tax working papers
- Assist with ad hoc tax or accounting projects
- Correspond with the external tax advisors
You have
- A professional accounting designation
- At least 3 years’ experience in a tax role or role that required tax return preparation
- Familiarity with Tax Prep (preferred), or similar tax software
- Intermediate to advanced Excel and Word skills
- Public practice tax experience is an asset
- Cross-border (US-Canada) tax experience is an asset
- A desire to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- A desire to build relationships across the business
- Excellent organizational skills; ability to multitask
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication and people skills
- The experience to work well under pressure with tight deadlines
- Strong work ethic and accountability
- The ability to work independently and understand when to ask for help

Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000, based on experience.
