We’re actively seeking multiple talented Senior Accountants to join our Team in Newport Beach, CA.
How you’ll help move us forward:

  • Oversee and manage daily operations of suspense accounts, tax withholding accounts, and other transitory accounts.

  • Monitor and analyze suspense accounts to identify and address complex variances resulting from operational or system errors.

  • Conduct daily reconciliations as required to maintain accurate account balances.

  • Support the training and development of accounting staff, offering guidance on intricate accounting issues.

  • Provide accounting support across the Bank Reconciliation team, cross-functional accounting teams, and key operational partners.

  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls to protect company assets and ensure precise financial reporting.

  • Collaborate with Treasury, Tax, Operations, IT partners, and other Accounting teams to ensure accurate recording of entries in the general ledger, with a focus on suspense and cash accounts.

  • Communicate complex accounting workflows clearly to relevant stakeholders to enhance understanding of their upstream and downstream impacts.

  • Participate in special projects and testing as needed for new products and/or applications.

The experience you bring:

  • 8+ years of experience of relevant experience.

  • 4-year degree or equivalent experience.

  • Solid understanding of financial statement risks and controls.

  • Strong technical, analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to meet and manage responsibilities under tight time frames.

  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written.

  • Takes a new perspective using existing solutions.

  • Works independently, receives minimal guidance.

  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.

What makes you stand out:

  • Working with large data sets and multiple Policy Admin Systems at the same time.

  • Experience with Peoplesoft, Oracle and ARCs a plus.

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range noted represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.
