Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and driven Senior Accountant/Assistant Controller to join our dynamic team at Atomica. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, proactive finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will play a key role in streamlining financial processes and contributing to the continued growth and success of Atomica’s cutting-edge MEMS manufacturing operations.
Objectives:
- Own and execute all core accounting functions, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, and internal audit procedures
- Manage and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual closes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to US GAAP
- Prepare internal and external financial reporting packages, including variance analysis and commentary
- Support the implementation and optimization of NetSuite ERP and related financial workflows
- Develop, implement, and maintain strong internal controls in alignment with SOX-compliant best practices
- Ensure audit readiness and coordinate with external auditors during annual financial audits
- Collaborate with operations, engineering, and procurement to track capital projects, manage fixed assets, and allocate overhead
Capabilities:
- BS/BA in accounting, finance or relevant field is preferred
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and accounting principles
- Professional certification (e.g. CPA or working towards CPA) is preferred
- Experience with NetSuite is ideal. Willingness to gain in-depth knowledge of ERP and accounting software.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the rest of the Microsoft Office Suite.

$90,000 - $120,000
