Additionally, you will leverage strategic planning and performance analytics to drive new business development, successfully onboard high-value strategic partners, and scale community-building initiatives.

This role also involves collaborating closely with leadership and cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, marketing, and trust & safety, to deliver exceptional results.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, marketing, and trust & safety teams to support seller success and platform enhancements.
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for key seller relationships, ensuring their needs are met and challenges are addressed promptly.
  • Leverage seller-level performance data (e.g., hours streamed, categories sold, programming mix, break formats, pricing strategy) to identify growth opportunities and build action plans that expand individual seller performance.
  • Analyze category and market-level trends across various areas (e.g., Football, Basketball, our internal “Instant Rips” product) to develop data-informed strategies that drive GMV growth, engagement, and overall marketplace expansion.
  • Represent the Commercial team in high-level strategy discussions and cross-departmental initiatives.
  • Develop deep expertise in the Fanatics Live product ecosystem, including the app experience, seller-facing backend tools, and support resources, to confidently guide sellers, drive feature adoption, and surface actionable feedback to product/engineering teams that informs ongoing product enhancements.
  • Inform in-app programming and placement strategy, including homepage, carousel, and banner features, to align seller visibility with performance and marketplace goals.

Qualifications

  • 5-8 years of experience in account management, client success, or related roles, with a focus on e-commerce or retail.
  • Proven experience managing high-value accounts and driving significant business outcomes.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience managing and developing a team.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
