Establishes long-term strategic plans for retaining and growing the accounts. Builds relationships with the key users and decision makers. Regularly conducts strategic account reviews to review service needs. Gathers market and competitor information to identify business trends, forecast demand and prepare the annual budget. Conducts reviews on accounts on regular basis to evaluate clients’ demands and usage of account; determine types of services/products and prices/fees satisfying the clients’ needs as well as the organization’s objectives. Develops and maintains a well-coordinated internal relationship with key decision makers within the organization.
Essential Duties (include, but are not limited to):
- Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
- Assists customers with organizational skills, account strategies and administrative responsibilities to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained.
- Develops and increases sales revenue to meet assigned targets.
- Acts as a resource to accounts in contract opportunities and proposals.
- Assists customers with contract negotiations, closing the sale and developing marketing plans for contract accounts.
- Keeps informed of new products, services and other general information of interest to customers.
- Checks on competitive activity and develops new methods of attaining customers.
- Troubleshoots problems, answer questions, and handle complaints as they arise.
- Other duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Management: Lead program planning and execution, ensuring the program plan is aligned with the company’s strategic goals and objectives. Communicate program vision and objectives clearly to both internal teams and external partners.
- Program Performance: Responsible for monitoring and tracking program performance that meets/exceeds both customer and company requirements and expectations for cost management (and profit), delivery and quality.
- Program Reporting: Use project management software and applications to build Line of Balance, presentations and reports to communicate project performance, program updates, and production/program reviews to management and customers.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, clients, and team members, ensuring clear communication and alignment on program goals, progress and status. Serve as the primary point of contact for external stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and ensuring their needs are met.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement program IMS, workflows, and project roadmaps to drive overall program success. Utilize advanced project planning tools and methodologies to create detailed project plans that ensure alignment and effective communication among all stakeholders of all integrated activities from engineering, procurement, production control, and manufacturing. Partner with production control to implement program plan and integrate into overall site production planning.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks across the program portfolio. Communicate potential risks and mitigation strategies to stakeholders promptly and clearly.
- Process Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to improve program management processes, methodologies, and tools. Communicate changes and updates to the team and stakeholders, ensuring understanding and alignment.
- Business Development & Proposal Support: Partner with Business Development to understand and plan for scope growth of current programs and/or new program opportunities. Support customer on-site visits and help facilitate program or manufacturing readiness reviews.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in program management, with a proven track record of managing large-scale, complex programs in aerospace or DoD.
- PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification is preferred, but not required.
- Proficiency in program management software and ERP Systems (i.e., MS Project and Epicor) is essential.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (i.e., Agile, Waterfall), with the ability to effectively communicate technical requirements and updates to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. Ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively to senior leadership, customers, and team members. Proven ability to manage communication channels and ensure that all stakeholders are informed and engaged.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions to challenges. Ability to communicate solutions and rationales effectively.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines. Strong communication skills are required to navigate and manage changes effectively.
