About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Account Manager to join our publications team at Nucleus Global. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong scientific understanding with exceptional organizational and leadership skills, and who thrives on building strategic partnerships with clients. You’ll work across therapy areas to develop and deliver high-quality scientific publications that communicate complex data with clarity and impact.

As a Senior Account Manager, you’ll take ownership of publication planning and execution across multiple projects—collaborating with authors, clients, and internal teams to ensure excellence in scientific integrity, accuracy, and delivery.


What You’ll Be Doing

Your role will be central to managing and delivering impactful scientific publications that support our clients’ communication objectives.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Serving as the primary client contact, providing strategic counsel on publication planning, timelines, and best practices.
  • Managing all stages of the publications process, including publication plan development, manuscript and abstract submissions, congress materials, and post-publication communications.
  • Partnering with scientific, editorial, and project management teams to ensure all deliverables meet the highest standards of scientific accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
  • Leading internal teams to ensure smooth workflow, clear communication, and high-quality output across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Overseeing project financials, including budget management, SOW development, forecasting, and resource allocation.
  • Proactively identifying opportunities for account growth and contributing to new business initiatives.
  • Ensuring all activities comply with Good Publication Practice (GPP) guidelines and relevant industry standards.

About You

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring deep experience in medical communications with a focus on publications and a passion for excellence in scientific storytelling.

You will have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in life sciences (advanced degree preferred).
  • 4–6 years of experience in a medical communications agency, with significant exposure to publications planning and delivery.
  • Strong project and financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and SOW development.
  • A proven ability to manage complex publication programs and collaborate effectively with authors, clients, and cross-functional internal teams.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of Datavision or similar publications management systems (a plus).

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. This range may differ based on your experience and skill set, geographic location, and cost of living considerations. $85,000$112,000 USD
