Reporting to the Director of Provider Sales, the Senior Sales Executive, Provider is responsible for driving net-new logo acquisition as well as expanding revenue within existing provider accounts across an assigned territory. This role focuses on promoting the Availity Revenue Cycle Management suite of solutions by developing and executing strategic sales plans that increase revenue and deepen customer relationships. The Senior Sales Executive, Provider will lead complex, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles, including pipeline management, forecasting, and sales activity execution. They will present solutions using effective sales methodologies, including team‑based and consultative approaches, and collaborate closely with senior leadership and corporate counsel to negotiate contracts and ensure timely execution of fully signed agreements. Travel is required for this role (KY, OH, WV, VA, PA and TN), along with participation in additional duties, projects, or initiatives as assigned by management.

To be qualified for this position you:

  • Must have a minimum of 8 years’ sales experience in Healthcare IT.
  • Demonstrated success selling RCM solutions through net‑new logo acquisition while expanding revenue within named provider accounts, including a proven ability to prospect, close complex enterprise deals, and grow existing relationships through upsell and cross‑sell of healthcare technology or RCM solutions. 
  • Have a proven record of success in a quota driven sales role. 
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication. 
  • Must be comfortable preparing and presenting formal proposals. 
  • Should be involved in industry organizations such as MGMA and HFMA. 
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM tools.

  • Possess persuasive communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. 

You will be:

  • Selling Availity Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) solutions to provider organizations, health systems, and billing service organizations, with responsibility for both net‑new logo acquisition and growth within assigned named accounts.
  • Partnering with the Availity Marketing team to develop and deliver value‑based messaging and materials for prospective and existing customers, articulating the Availity story and demonstrating ROI.
  • Driving outbound prospecting efforts, including warm and cold outreach, to generate net new opportunities while expanding relationships within named accounts.
  • Collaborating with Availity Legal to structure, present, and negotiate provider sales agreements for new and existing customers.
  • Managing multiple, concurrent enterprise sales cycles across net‑new and expansion opportunities.
  • Developing and executing territory and account plans to achieve quarterly and annual new logo and expansion revenue targets.
  • Owning pipeline development, opportunity progression, and accurate sales forecasting across named accounts and new prospects.
  • Creating and executing lead generation strategies while maintaining deep knowledge of healthcare industry trends, challenges, and regulatory considerations.
  • Attending industry events and conferences and traveling to customer and prospect sites as needed.
