Who we are:
Nitra's mission is to build a more efficient healthcare system and the technology that makes it possible.  Our goal is to provide an ecosystem of fintech and software solutions that help doctors better manage their practices, so they can have time back to focus on what matters to them most.

We operate with urgency, intensity, and ambition. The bar is high because the opportunity is massive. We expect excellence, ownership, and intellectual rigor from every team member. We move fast, make bold decisions, and hold ourselves accountable to results. At the same time, we believe great companies are built on trust and respect. Every voice matters. Every contribution counts. When we win, we win together.

We are scaling rapidly and on a clear trajectory toward becoming a unicorn this year — and beyond. Our growth is not accidental; it’s the result of disciplined execution, relentless focus, and a team that refuses to settle. We are building a category-defining company, and we’re looking for people who want to do the most meaningful work of their careers.

If you want comfort, this isn’t the place.
If you want impact, ownership, and the chance to help build a generational fintech company, welcome.

Nitra was created by unicorn founders who have successfully scaled to thousands of customers and exited $1B+ public offerings. They are joined by an ambitious and experienced team from American Express, Citi, PayPal, Capsule, Plaid, Bloomberg, Meta, Facebook, and Mastercard. The team is backed by some of the world’s leading VCs (Andreessen Horowitz, NEA, etc.) and is supported by an expert group of advisors including the cofounders of Square and Xendit, executives from Intuit, former Governors, White House senior staffers, and a co-founder of CityMD.

We're looking for:

  • We are seeking a Senior Account Executive to join our Sales team. This is an experienced, full-cycle closing role for someone who creates their own opportunities through disciplined outbound, runs sophisticated discovery with practice owners and senior decision-makers, understands how a customer's business operates financially, and translates that into a tailored business case for Nitra's card and financial products. Each Senior AE owns a defined territory and medical specialty, and is expected to build genuine depth in it.

  • This role sells Nitra Card — our corporate card and financial products built for medical practices. You'll need the commercial judgment to figure out which part of a practice's financial picture Nitra actually solves for, and to build the case from there. You should be comfortable navigating multiple stakeholders in a medical practice (owner/physician, practice manager, finance/ops) and holding a credible conversation about cash flow, working capital, supply spend, and revenue cycle.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Own the full life cycle of the deal from creation to close — opportunity creation, discovery, business case, negotiation, and signature.

  • Own a defined territory and medical specialty: work the assigned book of accounts, prioritize where to spend your time, decide how you're breaking into each practice, and multi-thread across owners, practice managers, and finance/operations stakeholders.

  • Generate your own meetings through high-volume, high-quality outbound — cold calls and email.

  • Become the expert in your specialty — how those practices buy, what they spend on, which vendors and distributors they use, and where Nitra creates measurable financial value for them.

  • Run sophisticated discovery that uncovers how a practice actually makes and spends money — DSO, supply spend as a percentage of collections, buy-and-bill float, payer and purchasing dynamics — and connect those findings to Nitra Card.

  • Construct and defend ROI live with practice owners, going beyond product features to a financial case for change.

  • Build a tailored case for each customer based on their specific business problem, rather than following a fixed pitch.

  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations that land the value points that matter to that specific practice.

You have:

  • Substantial B2B closing experience — typically 6+ years — owning the full life cycle of the deal from creation to close. We treat the years as a guide, not a gate; an exceptional

  • Experience selling a platform or suite of solutions, not a point solution — you understand a customer's business well enough to decide which parts of the product create value.

  • A history of selling to business owners and senior decision-makers, and navigating multiple stakeholders through a complex purchase.

  • Strong financial fluency. You can read a P&L, speak credibly about cash flow, receivables and payables, working capital, lending and credit, and explain complex financial concepts simply.

  • Strong customer-facing and executive presence — articulate, composed, and credible with owners and senior decision-makers.

  • Strongly preferred: experience selling payments, fintech, commercial banking or cards, merchant services, expense management, AP/AR, vertical SaaS with embedded payments, or other financial products. These backgrounds translate well because you're already accustomed to understanding how a business manages money.

  • Strong plus: healthcare experience selling to practice owners, or familiarity with payer contracts, GPOs, distributors, MSOs, and private equity dynamics in healthcare.

  • The ability to learn and articulate Nitra Card's use cases, capabilities, and functionality well enough to build a compelling case for change — and the intellectual horsepower to get there fast.

We offer:

  • Competitive Salary - You’re the best of the best, and your salary will reflect your experience and reward your contributions to Nitra

The base salary range for this full-time position is $120k - $140k + equity + benefits. For on-target-earnings (OTE), the pay range is $240k - $280k. This OTE range includes both base salary and target incentive compensation. Target incentive compensation compensation for some roles may include a ramping draw period. What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
