About Treeswift:

In the face of rising threats, increasing pressure on affordability, and unprecedented demand for power, Treeswift empowers energy companies to modernize their field work to meet the growth and challenges ahead.

We build physical AI for the field worker: whether on foot or in a vehicle, our technology is an ironman suit for engineers, linemen, and vegetation crews: same worker, same boots on the ground, now operating at 10x productivity. Our platform is powered by cutting edge hardware, sensors (LiDAR, camera, etc…), AI and software designed to revolutionize work in the toughest environments.

Since our first pilot with a utility in June 2024, we've grown fast, now working with three of the five largest utilities in the US. To date, our technology has enabled our customers to reduce wildfire risk, regulatory and outage risk from vegetation, avoid delays and cost overruns in new construction, and accelerate recovery from severe storms.

To tackle this challenge, we are bringing together a team of mission-driven experts with deep industry experience in robotics (Penn, Caltech, CMU) and enterprise software development (Palantir, Stripe, Oracle, MongoDB). We have raised funding from leading investors including Penny Pritzker’s Inspired Capital.

We are headquartered in midtown Manhattan, with additional offices in San Francisco and Philadelphia.

Our growth is only accelerating. We’re looking for deeply curious and highly ambitious people who want to have a real world impact. Come build the future of (field) work with us.

About the Role

Treeswift is looking for a Senior Account Executive to own complex enterprise sales relationships across utilities and infrastructure customers.

You'll lead full-cycle deals end to end, from first conversations through pilots and enterprise-wide deployments. Along the way, you'll partner with operations, engineering, supply chain, legal, and executive leadership to show how our product translates into real, long-term measurable business impact.

We're looking for someone who's energized by building lasting partnerships and unlocking large, multi-year accounts.

What You’ll Do:

Drive Revenue & Deal Execution

  • Generate net-new opportunities and build a healthy, forward-looking pipeline

  • Manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with clear next steps and steady momentum

  • Convert successful pilots into enterprise-wide deployments

  • Guide procurement, legal, and contracting processes to close deals on schedule

Represent a Technical Product with Clarity

  • Develop deep fluency in Treeswift’s technology to confidently represent it in customer, executive, and in conference settings

  • Turn product capabilities into clear, compelling business outcomes

  • Build and present business cases that make enterprise adoption an easy yes

Build Enduring Customer and Internal Relationships

  • Cultivate relationships across customer organizations, starting at the executive level

  • Bring cross-functional stakeholders together to support adoption and expansion

  • Become a trusted partner on the priorities that matter most to your customers: cost, quality, and safety

Support Long-Term Account Growth

  • Work with senior leadership at your accounts to help shape their strategic priorities

  • Bring your industry experience and judgment to bear as a real advisor, not just a vendor

  • Build multi-year account strategies that drive sustained revenue

You are probably a strong fit for this role if you have:

  • 15+ years of experience in enterprise sales, with a significant portion focused on the electric utilities sector

  • Proven track record of closing complex, multi-million dollar deals in technical, infrastructure, or grid-related environments

  • Credibility with both technical teams (grid ops, engineering) and C-suite or regulatory stakeholders

  • Experience navigating multi-stakeholder utility buying cycles and turning pilots into long-term contracts

  • Strong commercial instincts and the ability to build and defend ROI-driven business cases with executives

  • Willingness to travel within the US 50-75% of the time to meet customers, attend conferences, and close deals

You're probably a strong fit for this role if you:

  • Live by ABC ("Always Be Closing") and take real ownership of driving deals forward

  • Are sharp, scrappy, and self-directed

  • Build genuine rapport with everyone from field operators to the C-suite

  • Know that the path to credibility, trust, and the win is continuously deepening your understanding of a customer's problems

  • Believe in showing, not just telling, and can demo software with confidence

  • Run an organized, data-driven sales process

  • Stay persistent through long sales cycles

  • Value feedback and use it to keep getting better

What We Value

  • Mission first. We value team members who are focused on working towards the best outcomes for the customer and the business.

  • Curiosity. We are constantly learning – from each other and from our customers.. We aren’t afraid to learn we were wrong in the process and adapt our approach accordingly.

  • Ownership mindset. If you see an opportunity for improvement, run with it. We believe that good ideas can come from anywhere, no matter your role.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and equity package

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your eligible dependents

  • Life insurance and short- and long-term disability coverage

  • 16 weeks of fully paid parental leave to support all new parents

  • Flexible, unlimited paid time off

  • 401(k) retirement savings plan

  • Free OneMedical membership

  • Commuter benefits

  • Snacks, goodies, and team lunches provided twice a week to keep you fueled and connected with your colleagues.

Salary

Depending on candidate quality and experience, the OTE for this role is in the $300,000 to $380,000 range, consisting of a combination of base salary and commissions. This is a quota-carrying role with uncapped commissions.

Total compensation for this position is determined by skills, qualifications, relevant work experience, location, and other factors. This OTE estimate excludes the value of any benefits offered and the potential future value of any long-term incentives, including equity grant(s). This information is provided per the New York City Human Rights Law. Please note that the range provided is applicable only to New York City-based applicants. What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
