The Senior Account Executive will manage key accounts in women's apparel, work on sales strategies, and achieve monthly sales goals while overseeing team efforts in trade shows and advertising.
Place Showroom is seeking an experienced Senior Account Executive for our West Coast Majors team. Duties include but are not limited to, email outreach, staffing major trade shows on both coasts, and seeing key accounts on the road. The Candidate MUST have established relationships with major/key accounts in the women's apparel market. Experience with Private label greatly preferred. Candidate shall be responsible for maintaining the assigned collections, completing monthly sales plans and brand analysis, review selling reports and work with Sales Assistants to increase reorder business, coordinate advertising and CoOp opportunities, and meeting/exceeding monthly sales goals.
Requirements:
- Excellent people skills
- The ability to excel in high-pressure and fast-paced situations
- MUST have 5+ years wholesale sales experience in a similar, senior level role, in the Apparel/Accessory business
- Knowledge of current trends
- Must have applicable relationships in the industry with Major/Key Accounts (Department stores, e-commerce, Off-price)
- Professional office skills
- Proficiency in: Outlook, Microsoft Office
- Experience using a Mac
- Must be able to travel up to 50%
- Salary range: $110,000 - $120,000 base + bonus, commensurate with experience
